Soldiers of Allah is a secret international force that Sheikh Gilani formed in 1992 or thereafter. Gilani revealed its existence in a video that was distributed to select MOA members. Gilani told viewers not to make copies of it and to stop it from “falling into the hands of the enemy.”
The video includes an offer from Gilani to provide guerrilla warfare training to Muslims, including those outside of MOA.[27]
Law enforcement seized about 50 membership applications to join the SOA from MOA’s Colorado branch in 1992.
MOA-affiliated sources say that SOA still exists and consists of the most devoted and trained members who live on and off the camps.
